My latest venture…

Recently my daughter contacted one of our acquaintances who run a travel agency because she was quite uninspired in her current job as a quantity surveyor cum contract manager etc… She did some soul searching and thought that she wanted to try working in a travel industry instead because she is quite strong with her people skills…

When she called the friend, Mr Hardi, he told her that his company is interested to get her in on their latest project. Mr. Hardi also wants me to join in. He revealed that it has been his plan to recruit both of us but they do not have the means to employ us permanently yet until one day when the company has enough resources to do so…

Mr. Hardi (his travel agency is HARDI TRAVELS) has been observing the both of us during my silat sessions, camps and workshops that we had organized in the past, (he is one of my silat parents). We were invited to his office to discuss about the plans he has for us.

That night at the meeting, both Hardi and his wife proposed many things to us. What I gather from all this is now we can approach him with any travel ideas or theme and he will help us set up the place and logistics for it.

Several ideas got bounced around. Visit to durian plantations to eat all the durians that you can, healthy weight loss camp, detox camp, sampling of foods of foreign countries etc… The basic idea is to give our customers a unique experience travelling with us…Perhaps we can get feedbacks from anyone and develop it into a travelling project.

The latest project is the Mother’s Day Trip to Batam with live shows by Hussein Sha’ban and Emelia Contessa.
