A very Interesting start to the new year 2008

I have decided that this is the year where I will recoup my investment in running my martial art class. We have been developing our product since 2003 and I am glad to say that we have something to offer to anyone who is interested to learn martial art for whatever purpose they want it to be.

Basically, we have formulate a structured program that make anyone able to fight effectively (in a tournament of course) and definitely defend themselves on the street. We will market our perguruan aggressively this year and really want to reach out to all races of the community.

Why must people learn martial art from Japan when we have a perfectly good one that can identify a person coming from South East Asia. Imagine going to America (work assignment purposes) and being asked to showcase the martial art you have and you show them Japanese Martial Art. Isn't that degrading yourself. What ? people in SEA don't know how to defend themselves? Silat is well accepted in other parts of the world now and people here rather support a foreign martial art which is no superior than ours ? That just blow me away man...
