Joint Motivational Camp

This is the second time Macan is involved in a joint camping activity. However, this camp brought forward more like minded people together and we hoped to organize more join activity in the future.

During the camp when our participants were going through the activities, I took the opportunity to get to know the key personnels of the other perguruan a little bit better. I urged them to put forward all their ideas about the objective of running a silat school. My reason of doing so was to find out more about whether we were moving together in the right direction.

All of us agreed that whatever we do must benefit our people in general. Hence all of us agreed to organize the silat league tournament as an annual event from now onwards. We also want to expand our circle of friends in the region. Hence, we will organize training trips to Malaysia for a start.

In the future we will get many other like minded perguruans into our fold. Especially smaller perguruans which believe in the true essence of silat. These perguruans prefer to remain small because we want to preserve our form of silat by making sure only very qualified instructors teach at the gelanggangs.
