Another Hectic Start....

So... 2006 already... My O my...

Its really amazing how we managed to organise Camp 2006 with a really tight budget. The feeling that i got from this camp is like a proud father looking at his children coming of age. Like we are now enjoying the fruits of our labour...

Having said that, I also notice that the feeling of brotherhood among us is ever so strong but we are now faced with having to deal with BGR among us. Throughout the camp there were some episodes that made some of us especially the elders a bit uncomfortable. Remember, even if we feel like brothers and sisters during the camp, but we must realise the fact that we are still govern by the law of Islam. We are still not Muhrims. Hence touching in a certain ways must not be allowed ( I will deal with this frankly during the post-mortem). This is not to say there were a lot of these episodes happenning during camp but just a moment of tomfoolery might get us all into trouble.

Since we are definitely going to organise more overnight outings, please approach me if any of you feel being pressurize into doing something that is against your wish and stay close to the organizing committee or to the instructors.

Yes, another big event is going to happen. The Silat League. It will definitely be something to look forward to. Many of our brothers and sisters are preparing for this. I hope all of you not only train up your silat techniques but your stamina as well. Good techniques will only be useful when you have strong stamina. Sometimes you can win with just strong stamina alone but with good silat techniques comes full satisfaction of having master the art.
